Best Ever Peanut Butter Cookies: Recipe

I have the perfect peanut butter cookie recipe for you guys. I haven’t managed to indulge in a lot of cookie recipes these days, but it’s about to change! Whenever the craving for cookies struck, I would make my overnight cookies recipes. The only problem is that these cookies need to rest prior to eating them. I know. You can definitely eat them without letting them rest, but the payoff is worth the wait. Nevertheless, this time around I wanted to create and share a recipe that you could bake and eat right away. These peanut butter cookies are absolutely delicious. Full of peanut butter flavour and they aren’t too sweet!

This peanut butter cookie recipe is so easy to make, and they will definitely become a staple in your house. You can easily make 24 small cookies of 15 large cookies. Either way, they won’t last long!

Best Ever Peanut Butter Cookies:

Best Ever Peanut Butter Cookies

These cookies hit the spot when it comes to a peanut butter craving. The smell they emit as they bake is to die for! Eat a few with a glass of milk

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 11 minutes
Total Time 26 minutes
Servings 15 large cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all natural peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup bread flour (can substitute all purpose flour)
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F degrees. Cream butter and sugars on medium-high heat until incorporated and fluffy (5 minutes). Make sure to stop the mixing and use a spatula to incorporate when needed.

  2. Add the peanut butter and mix on medium-high for another 4 minutes until creamy and fluffy. Add the egg and incorporate. Mix in the milk and vanilla. Add all the dry ingredients and mix until just incorporated. Do not over mix.

  3. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Using a tablespoon or a cookie scoop, scoop up 1 tbsp balls for small cookies and 3 tbsp balls for big cookies. Place 6 on a tray and using the palm of your hand, flatten them slightly. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove and let cool on the pan for 5 minutes so that they set. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely (or just go ahead and eat them!)

These peanut butter cookies are so easy to make and they taste so good. I love how you can make these beautifully large cookies that are still soft and chewy. I like to eat one (okay two!) with a tall glass of milk!

Yum, I’m glad to now have a PB cookie recipe. I also love that cookie stamp, where did you find it?

    • This will be your go-to cookie recipe! I found it in this small bin in a home goods store around Christmas last year. I think you can find similar ones online and also on Etsy. Just search for a “cookie stamp.” 🙂

  2. I LOVE peanut butter cookies, and this version looks incredible!! Yum!

    • This recipe is my favourite! I have another one I am tweaking around with, that involves oats. I just need to make a few adjustments before I post it. If you make these, let me know how they turn out 🙂
